This one is a simple little idea to use for cake decorations.

  • Water
  • 3 Tbsp Agave nectar
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 orange

Using a sharp knife, thinly slice the orange and lemon into segments.

Place into a bowl of ice cool water.

Add 50ml of water to a pan and add the orange and lemon segments. Leave to boil for 2 minutes and then place into the iced water.

Add another 50ml of water and the agave nectar and place back the heat.

Add the oranges and lemons and allow for the agave nectar to form a syrup – boil for 2-3 mins.

When the mixture begins to thicken, lay the fruit out onto parchment to set. You can leave this in the fridge for speed.
